Casa Beatrice

Casa Bea Villa was built in 1840 and 1920. Our family bought Casa Beatrice in 2013, and have spent the time since adding to the initial building using a combination of Sicilian methods and modern architectural approaches, blending tradition and luxury. A getaway at Casa Bea is a chance to experience the authentic Sicilian countryside, with endless sightseeing and gastronomical opportunities just a short drive away.

The Villa is nestled in a 150 year old pine tree forest, on a rock ledge, overlooking Lake Rosamarina with mountain views of the ancient city of Caccamo and beyond. The deep plunge pool and a smaller wading pool overlooks the lake and mountains. Sounds of sheep bells ring in the valley, serene and quiet.

The main house consists of 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is surrounded by an ancient roman stone terrace. Two separate bedrooms with private bathrooms and one with a small kitchenette. Depending on the season, there is usually something tasty to pick and enjoy in the gardens.

The house is 30 Kilometers from Palermo and a short ride to the mid-evil town of Caccamo with the third largest castle in Europe and famous for their sausage.

Cefalu is nearby as a well as all the historical sites.

"Our stay was PERFECT! The house is Phenomenal-beautifully situated overlooking a reservoir surrounded by rural Sicilan countryside. Olive trees, goats on a hill down in the distance-the works! The property is a farm house that has been tastefully restored with a mix of new and antique furnishings-stylish but not precious. Modern conveniences are provided for including good wi-fi, effective A/C and plenty of hot water, dishwasher and washing machine. The main house has four bedrooms + two full baths over two floors and has a modern well supplied kitchen/great room. The main house is supplimented by two detached en-suite apartments, one with kitchette. While we found the house perfect for two you could comfortably accommodate five couples without feeling crowded. The exterior has several patios including a terrace surrounding the deep pool with a separate smaller soaking tub plus an outdoor shower. We loved getting out and exploring Sicily, but you could easily park yourself at the house and never leave. The property is accessed via a partially unpaved rural road so an SUV is recommended-we had no issue. Services, shopping and main roads are about 10-15 mins drive away. The whole experience was more delightful having Bruno & Giovanni cook several meals for us, it was the icing on the cake! They do a marvelous job and clean up so thoroughly it was a real treat. "Oh my where to start?! We have stayed in countless rentals over the years, but never have we experienced hospitality and comforts such as this! We were a group of two families with 3 small children and absolutely loved our stay. As far as the house is concerned-we couldn't have wished for more comfort. The view from the terrace is breathtaking (The pictures don't quite do it justice...) and the house is wonderfully spacious, well equipped, and full of the owner's loving touches. The pools were the perfect place to cool down in the Sicilian heat, one of them is knee deep (your kids will love it!) We even had a homemade dinner prepared for us by the Private Chef Bruno & Giovanni, which was as magical as our stay. We couldn't of asked for a better experience with our family! Thank you so much!
